Activity Factory Features: Electronic Signatures and QR Code

The feature updates, electronic signatures, and QR code, aim to upgrade users’ experience in signing digital documents and tracking workflows.

Electronic Signature

Electronic signatures are widely used and accepted nowadays. Several laws have been made to support the use of electronic signatures in private and public sectors. 

In Activity Factory, the ‘electronic signature’ feature allows users to sign digital documents with just a few clicks. It prevents the hassle of printing hard copies, signing by hand, and scanning back into the system. Furthermore, the electronic signature feature enables the following:

• Instant and convenient signing of documents anytime and anywhere using a smartphone, tablet, or desktop.
• Elimination of slow paper-based or manual sign-off processes that are usually prone to delays.
• Integration of electronic signatures in the approval workflows.

QR Code

Activity Factory users now have the option to share ‘workflow status’ to Activity Factory users and non-users by tapping ‘Share QRCode’ beside the QR code icon in the Workflow Progress area and inputting the email address of the intended recipient. The QR Code will then be sent to the email specified, ready to be scanned. With Activity Factory’s QR Code feature, it’s now possible for anyone to track a workflow status without the need to log in.
